Oct 15, 2019 · Each community defines STR. In this case, the minimum is 90 days. The bigger question would be is Airbnb stay considered " renting". If your "hosting" a guest overnight for a fee absent a rental/lease agreement, not sure how the community rule would hold up.

The definition are very generic and also vary much according to each country. It would be nice to have an Airbnb official size guide both for Guests and for Hosts for every type of beds, or rather showing the sizes next to each type of bed.

My definition of a dedicated workspace would be first and foremost a proper chair that is comfortable enough to sit on without moving for at least 3+ hrs while working on one's laptop, along with some sort of desk that has a somewhat decent desk-chair height ratio.

Apr 6, 2017 · @Geraldine83, the topic of how to define these types of units can be confusing.. One of the most frustrating aspects of the issue is this: there really isn't any person or entity who evaluates the listings and gives out the correct answer.

Oct 9, 2021 · The whole thing is a nightmare. We have a guesthouse newly rehabbed with 2 units. Just as if it was an apartment. I don’t consider that sharing a room. But then again I’m not a lawyer hahaha. Who knows it’s a lose lose & Airbnb needs more options when registering. Would clear up most of this misleading information.
