A 10-year-old boy has died weeks after allegedly suffering 'unimaginable abuse' from his mother and her boyfriend, police in Florida have said.

TAVARES, Fla. — A candlelight vigil in downtown Tavares celebrated the life of 10-year-old Xavier Williams. He passed away after being admitted to a hospital for cardiac arrest in March.

Both will also now face upgraded charges for the death of Mills' 10-year-old son, Xavier Williams, including a first-degree murder charge. Xavier died in March of suspected torture and neglect.

State Attorney Bill Gladson announced his office will seek the death penalty against a mom and her boyfriend in the death of her son, age 10.
