The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Santa Rosa on Saturday night. At 10:10 p.m., CHP officers responded to southbound Highway 101 near south of Steele Lane for the report of a crash.

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said.

Police say they found the bodies during a welfare check after a boyfriend of one of the occupants expressed concern.

New details have been revealed in Wednesday’s incident that resulted in Santa Rosa police discovering four dead inside a home. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD), the four people are believed to be family members.

California Highway Patrol officers and fire personnel found the man dead Saturday night along southbound Highway 101 just south of Steele Lane.
