The Final Reckoning has registered the biggest three-day opening weekend since Alien: Romulus at the China box office.

Just as I’ve complimented Alien: Romulus’ 4DX variant as the movie that let me safely experience airlock decompression, the technical wizards who converted Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning for 4DX deserve credit for upping the game on this last dash for digital supremacy.

Saturday was kind to most movies in the top 10 which saw lifts over Friday, in particularly Disney’s Lilo & Stitch and Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning which were respectively up 51% and 56%.
