Damian Lillard suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the first quarter of the Milwaukee Bucks' Game 4 loss to the Indiana Pacers on April 27.

For the second year in a row, the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks are meeting in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Pacers used their home-court advantage and took the first two games in the series in Indianapolis.

Milwaukee provided its fan base with a sense of hope following its 117-101 victory over the Pacers. However, such optimism crumbled when Lillard fell to the ground, without contact from another player, as the Bucks point guard attempted to grab an offensive rebound on the perimeter in the first quarter of Game 4.
