Some schools, government agencies and businesses will remain closed tomorrow in Sussex County. Over 9 inches of snow fell in parts of the county Monday and as people prepared for bed, many roads had not yet been plowed.

A number of schools have been closed by icy conditions as people have been warned to prepare for further snow. At least eight schools are closed in Staffordshire, external, with Moor First School in Stoke-on-Trent and St Leonard's C of E First School in Stafford among those citing unsafe road conditions.

A total of 19 schools and nurseries in Aberdeenshire and a further six in Moray will remain shut, while dozens of others will open late.
