An unknown individual sprayed mace on the Red Line at Preston Station Wednesday afternoon, injuring three passengers.

HOUSTON, Texas – Three people were hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after aerosol mace was sprayed on a Houston METRO train. METRO officials said the incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. on the Red Line at Preston Station. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

A search is underway for a suspect after Houston METRO officials said the suspect sprayed mace aboard a METRO train on Wednesday afternoon.
