While many people rely on a groundhog to let them know when spring will arrive, folks in Boston know warmer days are ahead thanks to Red Sox "Truck Day." It may have snowed overnight in Boston, but Monday marked the unofficial start of Spring Training.

As anticipation builds, so does some frustration for Red Sox fans, as most of the key moves came in December. Since then, the club has been mostly silent.

The Red Sox equipment truck leaves Fenway Park on Monday, bound for the club's spring training home in Fort Myers, Florida. The team has been in a downturn in recent years, missing the playoffs in five of the last six seasons.
