Tesla stock was falling in premarket trading Wednesday after dropping in the previous session after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration launched an investigation into a new feature on its vehicles.

Shares of Tesla Inc. TSLA inched 0.15% higher to $411.05 Monday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP rising 1.24% to 19,864.98 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 0.06% to 42,706.56.
