Authorities say Paul P. Hellem, 65, shot and killed Martha M. Woltman, 58, of Stillwater, with a 9-mm handgun sometime on Sunday or Monday at a property in Hersey, an unincorporated community about 30 miles east of Hudson. Hellem, whose last known address was in Grand Marais, Minn., then shot himself, said St. Croix County Sheriff Scott Knudson.

Just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation were at the scene of an apparent murder-suicide on Baxter Durrence Road, just outside of Glennville. According to the TCSO, four people, two Hispanic males and two Hispanic females, including the suspected shooter, were found dead.

Police identified on Tuesday the individuals involved in a possible murder-suicide that happened in far northeast Dallas earlier this month. In a news release on May 9, Dallas police said officers responded to a shooting call in the 11600 block of Audelia Road about 6 a.m.

WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials have now identified the man and woman found dead after a house fire in Washington Township earlier this month. They are 59-year-old Daniel Steel and 45-year-old Michelle Whiting. Investigators say this was a case of murder-suicide.

Troopers in Nebraska said Jeremy Koch is believed to have fatally stabbed his wife and two teens in an apparent murder-suicide.

The bodies of the victims, who have not yet been publicly identified, were recovered from the burnt out home after the fiery blast rocked Tranquility Court early Sunday.

Authorities have officially identified the two people killed in a murder-suicide last week in Gloucester Count y. The bodies of a man and woman were recovered from a home destroyed in an explosive fire May 11 in Washington Township.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the child was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and pronounced dead shortly after, police said.
