But just because LeBron has toyed with the idea of competing in the Dunk Contest in the past and ultimately always passed up on the opportunity,

LeBron James has achieved virtually everything possible throughout his illustrious 22-year NBA career. One thing he's never done, though, is participate in the Slam Dunk Contest.

LeBron James, who has been a regular at the annual NBA All-Star Game for decades, was expected to feature in the 21st iteration of the event but the Lakers star decided to opt out just moments before the start of the game.
