Most of Texas will not see wintry precipitation as an arctic cold front surges through the state, but there are a few exceptions.

A wide swath of Texas ranging from the northern Panhandle to the central interior will see a drastic shift in temperatures this week as a strong cold front barrels into the state. National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters are expecting the mercury to begin dropping on Tueseday and last through Thursday and Friday.

Saturday was in the 70s, Sunday in the mid-40s and windy. Two seasons in one weekend. Monday looks to be the best day in the week ahead.Please note the 70% rain chance for Tuesday. Most of this will be light rain but it will be windy with dropping temperatures by afternoon.
