An experimental MX Aircraft MXS crashed Thursday while the pilot was attempting to land at the Langley Air Force Base, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

First responders responded to the scene of what the NTSB called an "experimental" plane crash at Langley Air Force Base, killing the pilot.
