Jonesboro City Councilmembers met for the first time Monday evening since the mayor announced her resignation, then rescinded it.

Jonesboro city leaders continued to clash at the first meeting since the city's mayor abruptly resigned and then reversed her decision hours later.

Sartor made it clear that she is not stepping down, insisting that her decision to rescind her resignation was an emotional reaction to what she believes has been a pattern of harassment by certain council members.

Councilmembers say they will push for a vote to accept her resignation, even though she now says she's not quitting.
