Circle, the issuer of the popular USDC stablecoin, has launched its initial public offering, looking to raise about $624 million at a $5.65 billion valuation.

Circle Internet said on Tuesday it was targeting a valuation of up to $6.71 billion on a fully diluted basis in its U.S. initial public offering, as the stablecoin giant looks to tap into growing optimism around cryptocurrency.

The IPO price is expected to be between $24 and $26 per share. Based on the higher end of the range, Circle could raise almost $250 million, while the selling stakeholders could get nearly $375 million for their stake. Cathie Wood's ARK has expressed interest in buying $150 million worth of shares from the IPO, the USDC-issuer said in a filing.
