Carlos Rivas, 17, was more likely to help a resident carry groceries up the stairs of his Bronx building then get into a senseless street fight, neighbors said.

Three people were attacked Friday in East Harlem, including a 17-year-old male, who died from his injuries, according to the NYPD. The incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. at 108th Street and 2nd Avenue when the NYPD found three males with injuries,

Saul Sanchez, 62, allegedly fatally stabbed Carlos Rivas in the chest and lower abdomen, authorities said. Rivas, 17, later succumbed to his injuries at Harlem Hospital. The third man, 22, was stabbed in the left arm and Sanchez, 62, sustained a cut on his forehead. Both men were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
