Nice drive in the park this fall. Just starting to see the colours of autumn materialize. Easy and hard trails in the offering but so serene and calming. It's a real must no matter the age. Full review by 877maryanner

My expectations were pretty low, but I really liked Riding Mountain...it's like a baby Banff! Just three hours from Winnipeg and it's so nice! Lots of parking and signs. Full review by danar54

Hi - visiting this beautiful park this weekend, I know the city of wasasagaming is very dog friendly. I know they are not aloud on the main beach but are there designated off least swim areas where you could let your dog swim?
A:
I saw a man playing fetch with his dog in the water on the main beach but not where the sand is, they were on the right side where the trees are
What are the roads like coming in from the West? I'd like to plan a motorcycle trip!

1, 16, 10, 45 are all good for road bikes, paved and passable with few pot holes. 354, 262, 19 would require an off road bike or slow going on a street bike. I suggest coming in on Hwy 1 then north on Hwy 10. Stop in Onanole at Poor Michaels for some great baking and to look through their books then head for Wasagaming/Riding Mountain and stay at the LakeHouse they have great lattes or espressos and their ice cream is the best. If you have time for hiking they have great trails and if not head north on Hwy 10 through the park great views coming out of the park at the north end. Once you hit dauphin take Hwy 5 to Yorktown. Have an awesome ride.
