We visited twice during our recent Bahamas trip. The first time we visited the caves and then crossed over to the beach. We loved this beach on our first trip in 2017 and it is still one of our favor… Full review by MaggieMae324

nope. bring food and water. there is a restaurant but was quite far 15-20 minutes. bear in mind though, the beach i beyond a half a mile walk through mangroves beachwalk, so it's a hassle if you need to go back and forth because your were thirsty. don't forget sunscreen, hat or covering. there is no structure at all beach front.

HI. nope. bring food and water, hat or covering. no restaurants near the area. there was a solo coconut vendor when we where there but generally, none.
We will be on a cruise in May and want to see this beach so badly. I am having trouble finding a reasonably priced tour or taxi to take us and stay with us. $250 is the price I was quoted. A bit too steep for me. Can I ask you how you arrived at the beach? Did you rent a car or take a taxi? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you,

At the port, take a car rental. They will give you a map and give you directions. It really is an easy drive on the highway. You can stop at a local store and grab some snacks. The trail to the beach is directly across from the Lucayan Reserve which is also a nice adventure. The trail (330m long) takes you through lush vegetation and mangroves but ends in the most A-Mazing view! You will love it!
